She wanted to know what the stroller was really like and if it was worth it. Another friend of hers had a Graco double and she felt like she should go with the Graco. We got into a conversation about double strollers and I told her I had bought my Contours AFTER having spent close to a year with the newest Graco double. I could not stand my Graco double. Yes, it had a few conveniences that my Contours doesn't but the pluses on the Contours outweighed the conveniences on the Graco!
I would recommend this stroller to anyone! I would also recommend an excellent stain remover, such as Baby OxyClean, to anyone with a new baby or kids in general.
My question for you is, what baby items would you recommend to someone having a new baby or another baby? What's your signature shower gift? What's the ONE THING you can't live without?

For myself so that I don't go completely crazy, I need a:
*Pacifier (the little green ones they give at the hospital...I forget what they're called
*Boppy
*Baby Sling
*Swing & a portable Rocker
Those soothie pacifiers were a GODSEND the first few weeks with my son! They were the only ones he would take until he rejected all pacis!
I tried the sling and both kids hated it, I was disappointed that they didn't like it!
Couldn't agree more on the Swing and portable rocker!!
*Peanut Shell Sling and Moby Wrap (I am able to carry him in these and nurse him at the same time)
*Bumbo seat (i set my son in this when I'm cooking and need my hands free for a second, to chop or pull stuff out of the oven)
*primo europeon bathtub (The are great for babies and toddlers)Love this tub!!!!! (I think it's primo it may be prima?)
I have two babies 13 months apart. My Must Haves:
*Zooper Tango double stroller which I absolutely LOVE
*Baby Swing
*Nuk pacifiers
*Skip Hop Double Duo Diaper Bag

Hi Kadi,
How are you?
I hope this qualifies as a question for "Fertile Farmer"...
As you know, since having Hannah, I've started taking Zoloft to help me deal with all the stress. It's helpful but it's aggravating to not be able to climax. My cousin (chnnature.blogspot.com) said she had the same problem but switched to Lexapro, & can still remain sane & still climax. She's advised to me ask others since not every one is the same (duh), so since you've mentioned taking it, I was wondering what you'd recommend for the sake of sexual sanity.
Thanks so much,
Clare (Day to Day)
BabyHawk and Quinny Stroller (It will go anywhere and turns on a dime)
Kids N Pets Stain and Odor remover (works on EVERYTHING...blood, diaper pail, flooded diapers in the crib/carseat...EVERYTHING)
portable swing
Stroller
Amazing supportive bras,
Classic music to smooth me and baby
My absolute must have and a must have for any mother expecting or raising is Holy Cow! This stuff is better than 409 and Shout when it comes to scrubbing grime on counters, clothes, you name it. Totally organic so safe for the little ones and biodegradable....good for the environment too.
